Introducing the 2026 - 2027 Leadership Team

PRESIDENT

Jay Yuen is a third-year student at the University of Washington studying Finance and Real Estate at the Foster School of Business and the Runstad Department of Real Estate. He previously worked as a Debt and Structured Finance Intern at CBRE, where he underwrote construction, acquisition, and refinance debt for multifamily assets. He also interned at Sea 2 Sky Partners on the acquisitions side, underwriting value-add multifamily deals, and at Sabey Corporation as a project engineer on a $65M data center expansion. Jay is the co-founder of KY Homes, a residential investment venture, and the founder of Everlane Landscaping, a business he has grown since high school. His interests span commercial real estate, with a particular focus on mixed-use and multifamily development. As President, he hopes to grow the club into a place where students build real skills and connect with the people shaping the region.

VICE PRESIDENT

Jake Decker is a third-year student at the University of Washington double majoring in Finance and Real Estate, pursuing a career in real estate finance. He previously worked in Property and Asset Management with JLL on the Amazon GREF account in Seattle and Bellevue. He currently serves as Vice President of the UW Real Estate Club, after a term as Speaker Chair. Jake's interests lie in real estate investment banking, private equity, and development. As Vice President, he hopes to grow the club into a rigorous, professionally oriented organization that prepares members for careers in commercial real estate and real estate finance.

CO-DIRECTOR OF EVENTS

Trevor Skeffington is a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) student at the University of Washington and a University of Oregon alumnus, where he studied Finance. He currently works as a Project Engineer Intern at The Rush Companies, supporting construction documentation and coordination on Timberwalk Apartments, a 120-unit ground-up multifamily development. His interests in the industry center on construction and development, with a long-term focus on real estate development. As Co-Director of Events, his goal is to build a strong calendar of speaker panels, tours, and networking events connecting students with industry professionals across the Seattle CRE market.

CO-DIRECTOR OF EVENTS

Lisa Ando is an undergraduate student at the University of Washington studying Real Estate and Business Administration. She has worked within the Runstad Department as a Reader/Grader for three courses offered at UW (RE 250, RE 361, and RE 411) and has served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for RE 361 since Summer 2026. She is also involved in the College of Built Environments Student Council as an Undergraduate Real Estate Representative. Her interests within real estate lie in finance and investments in non-traditional asset sectors. As Co-Director of Events, Lisa is committed to creating club events that expose students to different real estate asset classes and hopes to inspire students to pursue careers within the industry.

DIRECTOR OF STUDENT ENGAGEMENT

Anthony Cabillaje is a third-year student at the University of Washington College of Built Environments, studying Real Estate with a minor in Informatics. In summer 2025, he worked as a Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Intern at First Western Properties in Kirkland, where he compiled environmental due diligence across 21 King County fuel-station sites and ran site-selection research for national retail tenants. He studied urban design and planning in Tokyo, conducting fieldwork across the city's major commercial districts. His interests center on property-tech, and third spaces. As Director of Student Engagement, Anthony works to introduce more students to the club through campus tabling, classroom outreach, and events, with the goal of making real estate feel accessible to anyone curious about it, regardless of their major or background.

DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

Madie Quan is a third-year Finance student at the University of Washington with a strong interest in acquisitions and real estate private equity. In summer 2026, she participated in NAIOP Washington's DEI Commercial Real Estate Internship Program, where she gained exposure to the commercial real estate industry and built relationships with professionals across the Seattle market. Madie currently works at Tai Tung Restaurant in Seattle and previously served as Communications Manager for the UW Real Estate Club, where she helped promote club events and strengthen student engagement. As Director of Finance, she hopes to expand the club's fundraising efforts to create more opportunities for members, including helping fund student attendance at real estate case competitions and other professional development events.

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Tracy Phan is a fourth-year student studying Real Estate at the University of Washington. She currently works at Windermere Real Estate and is working toward earning her real estate broker's license. Her interests include real estate private equity, asset management, and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the real estate industry. As Director of Marketing, Tracy hopes to rebrand the UW Real Estate Club's social media presence by creating engaging content that highlights club events, analyst programs, and member opportunities. She is passionate about growing the club's community, welcoming new members, and fostering a professional yet close-knit culture where students can build meaningful connections and develop their interest in real estate.

DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION

Brandon Baydovskiy is a finance student at the University of Washington Foster School of Business with interests in real estate development, investment analysis, and capital markets. He is currently one of the primary equity partners in a six-unit ground-up townhome development, where he helps with procurement, vendor communication, budgeting, contractor coordination, and value-engineering decisions. Brandon also co-founded KeyBay Capital, a derivatives and volatility-focused private investment fund, where he works on portfolio research, risk management, investor communication, and fund operations. As Director of Education, he hopes to connect students and industry professionals while continuing to build practical experience across development, finance, and real estate investing.

DIRECTOR OF PROFESSIONALISM

Jacob Leininger is a third-year finance student and serves as Director of Professionalism for the club. In summer 2026, he worked as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Calder Capital, and he will join Bank of Montreal (BMO) as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in summer 2027. As Director of Professionalism, he aims to provide guidance on networking, career development, and relationship building while connecting members with industry professionals. His interest in commercial real estate stems from its unique intersection of finance, business, and community development, and he is excited to help connect students with the professionals shaping the future of the built environment.

SPEAKER CHAIR

Beckett Napier is a third-year student at the University of Washington, pursuing a double major in Real Estate and Business Finance at the Foster School of Business. He is an active member of CREDA and ULI, regularly participating in events to deepen his industry knowledge and professional network. He has a strong interest in real estate investment, finance, and the intersection of capital markets and commercial real estate. Beckett is the Founder and Director of Celebrating Foster Parents, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to recognizing the commitment of foster parents. As Speaker Chair, he cultivates relationships with prominent real estate professionals to organize engaging speaker events that connect students with industry leaders and provide insight into diverse career paths across the industry.

PROPERTY TOUR CHAIR

Natalie Plenge is a senior studying Economics, Real Estate, and Business at the University of Washington. She has built experience in real estate through internships, coursework, and coordinating real estate events. In summer 2025, Natalie worked as a financial intern for Colliers in their Debt and Equity group at the firm's Minneapolis headquarters, where she strengthened the financial and analytical skills that connect to commercial real estate while exploring a new city. As Property Tour Chair, she facilitates connections between industry professionals and students and assists club members with real estate inquiries. Through the club, Natalie aims to create an environment where students gain hands-on real estate experience through engaging events while connecting with industry professionals.

MARKETING STRATEGY MANAGER

Anneliese Hatfield is a third-year Real Estate and Business Administration student with an interest in brokerage, finance, and development. In summer 2025, she worked as a sales and brokerage intern on the Debt and Structured Finance Team at CBRE. As Marketing Strategy Manager, she works to advertise and market club events, including panels and property tours, throughout the Runstad Department of Real Estate and the greater UW campus. Through the Real Estate Club, she aims to connect students interested in real estate to the specific career paths they may find themselves passionate about pursuing.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Amanda Phan is a second-year student dual majoring in Civil Engineering and Business Administration, with an interest in real estate development and the built environment. She previously interned at MacKay, where she gained experience in land development design, AutoCAD drafting, consultant coordination, and site visits across a variety of projects. Her exposure to land development sparked her interest in real estate by showing how engineering and design decisions shape a project from its early stages through construction. She is particularly interested in the intersection of engineering, business, and real estate. As Social Media Manager, Amanda hopes to strengthen the club's online presence, highlight opportunities within the industry, and create engaging content that connects students with professionals and the broader Seattle real estate community.

EVENT COORDINATOR

Dallyn Ho is a third-year Construction Management student who currently interns at Exxel Pacific as a Project Engineer. He is involved in the management of the construction process and bridges communication between the developer, architect, and subcontractors. He has also worked in the pre-construction phase through estimating and building out bid summaries. This experience gives him a unique perspective on the real estate world that he hopes to share with members of the club. Dallyn also serves as Vice President of the UW AGC Student Chapter, giving him experience in what it takes to lead a group of students. As an Event Coordinator, he helps plan and run club programming throughout the year.

EVENT COORDINATOR

Finn Austin is a second-year student at the University of Washington studying Real Estate. As an Event Coordinator, he helps plan and execute club events including speaker panels, property tours, and other networking opportunities. Finn is a licensed real estate broker in Washington State and works as a Broker Assistant at Windermere Real Estate. He previously interned at NFM Lending, where he gained insight into the underwriting of residential transactions. Finn is pursuing a career in residential development with a desire to make housing more sustainable and accessible, and to create communities that people are proud to call home. In his role, his goal is to connect students with industry professionals and bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world careers in real estate.
