Rick Osterhout gives the lowdown on SLI's innovative construction technique in front of the company's pilot project

Hello, World!

47+7, built using a prefabricated kit of parts designed by SLI, is the first of it's kind, but it won't be the last.  Amazingly, the project, developed in conjunction with Wallace Properties, broke ground at the beginning of August and is schedule for completion on January 16th, only five-and-a-half months later.  More projects are planned in dense cities with challenging site access, including New York and San Francisco, but the company is pushing to international locations as well (notably Asia).

Club members met Friday morning (11/21) during a perfectly timed lull in the rain to tour the site and hear about project economics, construction methods, and SLI's future plans.
